During the subscription period, customers are provided regular updates/ upgrades to keep the software up to date. Customers must renew the subscription to continue receiving the updates/ upgrades/ support of Mithi's Business Email Server software.

Mithi releases new software versions quarterly, monthly and on-demand basis, as follows:

  • Quarterly: New versions or major upgrades, which may include all or some of new features, architectural improvements, new/upgraded components, support for new platforms, etc. The upgrade process may be involved and may need extensive planning and execution.
  • Monthly: Maintenance releases, available as upgrades and service packs, typically containing defect fixes, and enhancements to the features. Applying these upgrades is an automated process, involving service restarts or maybe a reboot depending on the impact.
  • On demand: Hot fixes and service packs to fix blocker defects and high impact security vulnerabilities. In most situations, these are available as small updates which can be applied with only service renewals.
